Having read The Nut Case: A Sister Sleuths Prequel Novella (see my review here) I just had to read book 1 in this delightful cozy.
Maddy is the more adventurous of the sisters but is really good at getting her sister Lea involved! Of course Lea's husband is not at all happy about their sleuthing! They can be pretty sneaky and besides Lea's dog is really good at sniffing out the good from the bad guys! It is actually the dogs who find the dead body under the pier--
Of course Lea's husband and the police detective who is close friends with Maddy but thinks maybe he wants more--warn the two sisters to stay out of this one--good luck guys!!
Plenty of suspects and many twists and turns before the culprit is caught---and Maddy has a new admirer--one who actually saved her from --well you will have to read this book to find out!
