Brigid and her husband are slowly getting used to an empty nest--well they are trying anyway. They are still running the Bed and Breakfast which keeps Link busy--Brigid besides the usual errands is catching up on her reading. She gets a call from the Sheriff-he needs her help with a case. Of course she says yes.

There are twists and turns and no real suspects in sight.

When everything finally clicks into place you really won't have guessed who the murderer is!

Meanwhile Brigid meets up with a high school acquaintance--you will definitely appreciate the outcome of that coffee date!

About the Book: (from Amazon)

A redecorated dream house. A bottle of wine. A dead designer. But did the murderer kill the wrong person?

When the new owners arrive to meet the designer they hired in the small town they’ve just moved to for a “reveal” of what she’s done with the house, things don’t quite go as planned. Their initial excitement leads to horror when they find the body of their designer on the living room floor, clearly dead. And three glasses on the dining room table, one of which is now empty.

Sheriff Davis and Brigid encounter one false lead after another in their search for the murderer. Brigid begins to wonder if the killer got the right person. Then it becomes a search not only for the murderer, but a search to find out if someone else had been targeted, and if so, who?

I always try and give people the benefit of the doubt - but there are some that upon first meeting I get turned off!

I am a trusting person but not quite as trusting as I use to be. First impressions are really important to me and sometimes you just know from the first time that you meet someone to listen to your own intuition.

I read a lot of True Crime so I don't trust someone until I get to know them.

I don't meet a lot of people, so I would to have drawn to them in some way.

I'm cautious. I wait until I've known someone a while before completely trusting them.

When I meet a person it really just depends on the vibe it get whether I give them the benefit of the doubt or not. If I immediately do not like them then it takes a lot to change me mind.

I'm usually pretty trusting-I have been fooled, though!

Unless they are introduced to me by a mutual friend, I tend to distrust until proven otherwise. I (and those friends) have sometimes been fooled.
