This book just proves that old adage-"no good deed goes unpunished"! Or maybe in some cases it comes out right?
When the owner of the coffee shop had to take a break and the ladies room had overflowed--she decided to use the Men's Room. Although she had asked one of her employees not to let any men go in there--he got distracted. Two men walked in and started talking about murdering a man.
She could not let this go and managed to find out who the man was and hurried over to tell him what she heard---he had a bad cold---then suddenly those men appeared and they made a mad dash out the back door! They had to keep running because those guys kept following and finding them!
It turns out the man she was now running for her life with was a Honeybun--one of 7 brothers. He eventually had to call on them for help.
I found myself laughing at all that was going on--these two make some pair!!
