Monday, November 23, 2020

Lady has broken up with Crispin, but they are still friends. She is now with Dom. All the friends still hang out but Lady feels strange about the whole thing. Destiny works at the Marina and used to go out with Dom--hum--I would feel a bit awkward about it all as well!! Then the marina where Destiny works is vandalized AND something is pulling people into the water!

Destiny is really worried she will lose her job because her boss doesn't seem to be doing anything about anything--Lady is bound and determined to figure out who did it. It takes them to Destiny's bosses brothers miniature golf course and a lady in Red keeps appearing.

Will Lady and friends be able to unravel these mysteries? This is an enjoyable read with a twist at the end you won't see coming!

About the Book: (from Amazon)

Lady has officially broken up with Crispin. She’s dating Dom now. Things are going well so far. Mostly. There’s no denying that her newfound relationship with Dom has made things a bit awkward between their friend group.

A day of hanging out by the river was supposed to help alleviate all that awkwardness. Unfortunately, their day of bonding was interrupted by Destiny’s boss, the owner of the Dark Lake marina.

Someone has vandalized the marina during the night. With insurance unlikely to cover the damages, things are quickly going sideways. If Lady wants to help her friend keep her job, she’s going to need to try and figure out who is behind the crime.

A mysterious woman in red has been showing up seemingly at random. Figuring out what’s going on with her seems as good a place to start as any.

Thirteenth Volume of the Dark Lake Chronicles Witch Cozy Mystery Series. This book is approx. 51,000 words in length. This book can be read as a standalone. Reading prior of future volumes not required to enjoy the book (though reading prior volumes first will enhance your experience). There is no cliffhanger ending.
