Lady's two brothers always manage to get into trouble. Horace in particular has a nasty habit of stealing--Lady thought he might have given this up--until---

Well Horace is missing and even Lady is a bit worried! She swears she won't get involved-but as the old saying goes "never say never"!

They do find Horace and his girlfriend--but something is wrong--terribly wrong. There is something strange going on in the woods.

I'm not writing another single word-you will have to find out for yourself!!

I will say that this was enjoyable with lots of twists and turns!!

About the Book: (from Amazon)

Lady’s brothers have always been a headache, Horace especially.

When she discovers he’s falling into old, sticky-finger habits again, she’s disappointed but not surprised.

However, she does start to worry when the police come knocking on her door. They want to question Horace, but he’s nowhere to be found.

As is custom in Dark Lake, Horace has gotten himself involved in something weird, something complicated and supernatural. He’s in the woods by the marina. Lady will need to find him. She’ll need to figure out why he’s stashing stolen goods out there and why he’s turned the woods into a mysterious, labyrinthine space.

This sounds like the kind of mystery I enjoy, with characters that are a little quirky and a story that has some humor or something different about it. It sounds fun to read as well as interesting.
