Aloa is really not in a good place--everything that could go wrong has. She made a big mistake and lost her very good job as an investigative reporter. She is also fighting bulemia--not easy to say the least. At least she has friends who kind of make her eat!!

Then came the phone call from a guy who actually lived with her family as they were growing up--she is not pleased to hear from him but when he offers her a large sum of money to do investigating and write it up--she really does not have much of a choice.

A woman was found in the desert-dead. The police deemed it a suicide. Aloa thought different since the woman's boyfriend was found dead a couple of months prior.

It took a bit of sleuthing and the help of her octogenarian friends to get to the bottom of it. She was almost murdered by the same person, You are never to going to guess who the person is. Lots of twists and turns in this one!!
