Kelly and her husband, Sheriff Mike were about to go on a vacation with Kelly's son who was on leave when they got a call that one of Mike's oldest friends was dead--he had fallen overboard amd drowned. Of course they cancelled the trip--not only was Mike the Executor of the estate--he was also the God father to his daughter--plus the drowning happened in his jurisdiction. His friend had decided to drastically lower the amount to go to his wife and his son-leaving the bulk of everything to his daughter.

Obviously none of those affected was pleased about this--he told them himself. What they didn't know is he had his will changed the day before he died!!

It was hard for me to figure out who actually did it and how. There are a couple of real twists and turns that will keep you wondering and guessing like I did!

About the Book: (from Amazon)

A man falls overboard and dies in the bay.

Was it an accident or a calculated murder motivated by a changed inheritance? Unfaithful spouses? Revenge?

When the dead man is Sheriff’s Mike oldest friend and one of the heirs is his goddaughter, he has to find out what happened. Good thing he has Kelly and a big boxer to help him.

This is the 17th book in the Cedar Bay Cozy Mystery Series by a two-time USA Today Bestselling Author.

I'd be interested in a recipe book depending on the price point. Even a person who is dying can be murdered, & most states still forbid assisted suicide.

I would love to have a cookbook she wrote. I would think there was foul play if this were to happen. These books sound great. Thank you so much for sharing

I like cookbooks so yes. When you add the word murder, then no. But if the person wants to die and goes to a country that has assisted suicide and the person does it to them self, that is their choice. Also it between them and their god. Not everyone believes in god.

I think a recipe book of hers would be interesting! And I think murder is murder if someone doesn't want to die, it they want assisted death than that's different.

I would love a book of Dianne's recipes. Assisted death is someone's choice unlike murder which clearly is not.
