Even when Hetta doesn't mean to--she always seems to step right into a mess of trouble. I mean really--her boat was being repaired so she needed a place to live and had to earn some money to pay for the repairs. She called up one of the people she knew (the Trob) would find her something--and sure enough he did. It wasn't his fault the job he sent her to was having trouble with it's employees and she would have to find a different place to live and work from there. And she really didn't think she would stumble upon human traffickers!!
She called one of her other friends since her cohort in misadventures (Jan) was whale watching with her new boyfriend--and her boyfriend was half way around the world at the job site he was currently working.
Besides befriending a real live coyote--it seems like people were after her---what more could go wrong?
Plenty of twists and turns and laughs in this one!!
