You will read this book in one sitting! It is that good. Kate is about to have her baby and she is a nervous wreck. All goes well--except she is now a real wreck--no sleep--forgetful--all the things a brand new Mom experiences. Her husband is very supportive-as is her Mom who lives to babysit! Then detectives come looking for her husbands brother -they haven't heard or seen him in a long time.
Kate decides to go looking for him (baby in tow). A PI comes by to question them--he ends up having a heart attack and Kate takes over the investigation. She really doesn't want to go back to her office job---her husband ends up in jail--lots of people are murdered--her husband loses his job--
This is definitely mad cap-Will Kate figure out who the murderer is? It takes a bit-what with the baby and all--and thankfully alls well that ends well!!
