Try to imagine having a hum drum life, very few friends and no boyfriends or family, You've managed to get a job in London at a private historical site still managed by the hunk of a guy whose family used to live there. There were a couple of rooms the girls were not allowed in--The Rose Room being one of them.

Emma manages to get into that room--never to be seem again--no one knows what happened to her.

She wakes up 200 years in the past and finds out she is supposed to be marrying the Earl of Hartley's brother-(his Aunt-whose character I absolutely loved) manages to fix that problem and many others)-one major problem--she is not who these people think she is and most of the time the words she uses are not known and visa versa. Another even bigger problem--she is falling for the Earl--and he her.

Of course there are problems which have to be solved--not the least of which when the real Emily shows up!

At the beginning of each chapter is a notation of things she will have to invent--there were a lot of things invented in 200 years!! I can't say I blame her one bit!!

This is a definite Time Travel Fairy Tale with a happy ending!

About the Book: (from Amazon)

Recent college grad Emma Damon knows the Rose Room in Hartley Hall is off limits, which is exactly why she can’t wait to get inside. Once she enters the forbidden room, Emma learns more about the history of the museum than she ever intended to know.

Waking up confused and shocked in 1816, all Emma wants is to return to her cozy home with flushing toilets and disposable razors. But when she’s mistaken for someone else, Emma must pretend to be everything she’s not. About to be engaged to the Earl of Hartley’s brother, Emma fails miserably at playing the role of a sophisticated lady.

Hartley is determined to ensure that the quirky and adorable woman marries his brother – despite his ever-growing attraction to her. After loving and losing, he refuses to fall prey to the shackles of love. But as his desire for Emma increases, he knows he must forfeit his happiness for his brother’s future. After all, there’s no such thing as happily ever after.

Or is there?

About the Author: (from Amazon)

Bestselling author Sariah Wilson has never jumped out of an airplane, never climbed Mt. Everest, and is not a former CIA operative. She has, however, been madly, passionately in love with her soulmate and is a fervent believer in happily ever afters--which is why she writes romance. She has published many happily ever after stories. She grew up in southern California, graduated from Brigham Young University (go Cougars!) with a semi-useless degree in history, and is the oldest of nine (yes, nine) children. She currently lives with the aforementioned soulmate and their four children in Utah, along with three tiger barb fish, a cat named Tiger, and a recently departed hamster that is buried in the backyard (and has nothing at all to do with tigers).
