About the Author: (from Amazon)

B. A. Mealer is an author of books with strong females as the lead characters. She grew up reading Judy Barton, Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys before graduating to Agatha Christie, Dan Brown, James Patterson, J. D. Robb, Daphne Du Maurier and James Michener. She also loves anything with dragons if it is well written along with sci-fi and...well any book which had a good story in it. Being a romantic at heart, all her novels include some romance woven around the situations confronting the vulnerable women. She will also use her passion of riding a motorcycle in several novels to be published.

Most of her books are contemporary but expect to find fantasy/paranormal and a historical which are in the writing stages. You will also find the settings are anything from urban to rural. Ms. Mealer has been to most of the settings she uses having spent a year traveling and researching various areas as possible places for a story to take place. She recently moved to a place almost off the grid in the high desert of Arizona, loving the solitude for writing.
