Lucy, Marty's sister is psychic and trys to keep Marty out of trouble. Unfortunately she is usually spot on so Marty and the rest of the group that live in the compound tend to listen to her--even Marty's Detective husband. When Marty was asked to appraise a multi million dollar estate belonging to Camille her sister told her to be careful. When Marty finally got there Camille was found dead!

Well the appraisal did have to go on if for no other reason then estate purposes.

Now Patron-the big white boxer--was just as psychic as Lucy!! He seemed to know when trouble was a foot. Like most dogs he could tell at a glance whether a person was good or bad and acted appropriately!

There were an awful lot of suspects--and possible weapons. Would the murderer get caught and just who was it who actually figured it out.

The recipes at the back of the book are making my mouth water as usual!

About the Book: (from Amazon)

All Camille wanted to do was build a museum in the desert. Too bad someone didn't agree, and she was murdered. But was it for the land or her millions?

That property was prime desert land. A lot of people wanted it. The Tortoise Lady, the Mafia investors, and the Indian tribe. Camille's son and daughter-in-law wanted her millions. Makes for a lot of motives and suspects.

Detective Jeff's busy with two other murders, and definitely needs his wife's help. Good thing Marty has a psychic sister and a psychic dog to help!

This is the seventh book in the popular High Desert Cozy Mystery Series by two-time USA Today Bestselling Author, Dianne Harman.

Yes I think people and dogs are psychic...animals in particular seem to know when tsunami are coming and move to high ground for instance. People often know things and never know how they know they just feel it...
