E-Books-3 Win-WW-Red Zero-Dianne Harman-Ends 7/16

Monday, July 2, 2018

I read the first book The Blue Coyote Motel a long time ago-back in March 2015 actually (see my review here). I also read and reviewed the next two in that series! Ever since then I have been hoping and praying that Dianne Harman would continue that theme with Slade Kelly--Well that day has finally come--

It seems Darya (Slade's girlfriend) bought the anti aging cream from the wife of the man who created it--and has made a heap of money--But now when she sees Red Zeros on peoples foreheads--they die----

I do have to warn you that this is definitely not a cozy nor are there recipes at the end--but you will be reading the names of some really delicious ones throughout which are served at the retreat. We really have to convince Dianne Harman to create a cookbook-but I digress. A most unusual retreat-one that bears careful watching!! Slade just knows something is wrong but can't pinpoint it yet-not totally anyway.

This very short novel stops abruptly--making you know you have to get the next one in the series--then the third I suspect--to find out what the heck is happening and why!! As with the Blue Coyote series (still my absolute favorite of all Dianne Harman's books)--I will be reading and reviewing all of them!

About the Book: (from Amazon)

What would you do if you saw a red zero on someone's forehead...and then they died?

This is the first book in the Slade Kelly Suspense Series by USA Today and Amazon Chart #1 Bestselling Author, Dianne Harman.

Slade Kelly was first introduced to readers in the Blue Coyote Series. He's a private eye with attitude, street lingo, and a couple of advanced degrees. This three book short read series features Slade and the woman he guards, but is also in love with, Darya Rahimi. When she develops the ability to see red zeros on people's foreheads, and they die shortly thereafter, as well as owning the rights to an anti-aging formula, his protective abilities are put to the test.

If you're in the mood for a page-turning suspense short read with quirky characters and lots of action, this one's for you!

I haven't ready anything from this series yet, but I could really use a good page turner about now. I'd definitely start with the first one! And who doesn't love recipes?!
