I have been looking for this type of sneaker for like forever it seems. I can not wear high back sneakers--. My ankles just can not take the pressure! These are also the type sneakers that I grew up with. Well, maybe not as well made--but they look the same--COMFORTABLE!! I love that there is a cushioned inner sole and the outer sole is rubber--less chance of slipping! Canvas is also much more breathable which makes them a bit cooler to wear.
