$25 Amazon/PP-1-WW-Murder in Whistler: A Northwest Cozy Mystery-Dianne Harman Ends 6/27

Tuesday, June 6, 2017

All they were planning was a short vacation to visit DeeDee's sister in Whistler. The sister's hadn't seen each other in a while and they missed each other. Plus, Roz seemed to be holding something back--DeeDee figured she had a better chance on finding out what this secret was if she saw Roz in person. She only hoped that there was no trouble!

They arrived in Whistler only to be told that they could not stay at Roz's house. No problem--Roz had gotten them a room at nearby golf club. Even better-the room was upgraded to a suite when they got there!

Jake and Roz's boyfriend head out to play golf the next day--DeeDee and Roz would spend the day shopping and eating. As they walked to the starting tee they noticed something lying in the grass--it was Johnny Roberts--and he was very much dead.

Turns out that Johnny Roberts was a former neighbor of DeeDee--and she was very close to his wife. Thus begins the mystery--who killed Johnny Roberts and why?

I definitely enjoyed reading Murder in Whistler-it kept me reading and guessing until the murderer is revealed near the end! I was kind of hoping it wouldn't be who it was---but then---no clues from me!!

About the Book: (from Amazon)

When DeeDee and her boyfriend, Jake, head to Whistler, British Columbia, to see her sister, Roz, and enjoy a little down time from her new catering business, Deelish, and his job as a private investigator, the last thing they expect is to become involved in a murder.

What makes it even worse is the person murdered is DeeDee's former neighbor, Johnny Roberts. He was a bigger-than-life person and the owner of a very successful Mercedes Benz dealership in Seattle, but did he have secrets? And who would want Johnny dead?

Was it the man who years ago had tried to get Johnny's wife, Cassie, to leave Johnny and marry him? Was it the sexy saleswoman in Johnny's dealership who didn't care whether or not Johnny was married, but wanted revenge when he rejected her? Was it his brother who resented Johnny for being the frugal administer of his trust fund? Or even the Mercer Island golf club pro who felt threatened by Johnny's golf game?

Join, DeeDee, Jake, their husky dogs, Balto and Yukon, and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, as they try to figure out who murdered Johnny Roberts and why.
