Book Review-A Christmas to Purr About (Klepto Cat #22-Patricia Fry

Monday, April 3, 2017

This one had me scared and close to tears but I can't tell you why or I will give too much away. All I will say is Gremlin (who is now over the Rainbow Bridge)almost died from that poisoned food back then. He was in the hospital for over a week--they told me not to expect him to live--HE SHOWED THEM!! Rags, our favorite klepto cat has a close call too, but for a different reason-----my heart was in my throat!! The reason this all came to be was that everyone was helping to feed the homeless at their church.

There are several Christmas miracles that occur in this book--all of them heartwarming. Of course Rags gets into a bit of trouble at his paw signings which causes his Mom to get into some serious trouble as well!! And I will leave you with this thought--who says animals can't somehow read our minds!!

About the Book: (from Amazon)

The Ivey family and friends agree to serve the hungry during the holidays, but not without serious consequences that require a little feline and equine intervention. Detective Craig goes missing, Rags is accused of grand theft and malicious mischief, Savannah is harassed and nearly arrested, Michael has a surprise reunion to beat all reunions, and Peaches facilitates a Christmas miracle. If you were touched by A Picture-Purrfect Christmas, you’re going to adore this story of struggle, strife, and fear overcome in the most unusual and loving fashion.

My granddaughter would love this! She is a lover of cats. She volunteers at the Humane Society and wants to volunteer at the Soup Kitchen although, she isn't old enough. She reads anything she can get her hands on especially about animals.
