Book Review-The Spy Who Chipped the China Teacup-Angie Smith

Tuesday, February 28, 2017

I received the unedited mobi edition of this book from the author with the realization that I would be mentally correcting in my head. Well I would like to say that there weren't as many errors as I thought there might be. Besides I was too busy trying to keep up with what was happening. This is non-stop suspense, thriller all rolled into one.

Who are the good guys and who are the bad guys in this novel which takes you from Great Britain to Africa and throws in some Russian connections as well? And why are they trying to save Taylor Hudson--a gun smugglers wife who wants her dead? This novel will definitely keep you guessing--and the ending--a total surprise and might have set up for another book!! Even if no more will be written--this one is well worth the read!

About the Book: (from Amazon)

Would you believe she is dead?

Taylor Hudson reaches the stark realization that she is in imminent danger. Time and options have all but evaporated when, out of nowhere, she is thrown a lifeline. She places her trust in a complete stranger, someone who claims they will keep her safe and out of reach. But can they, and who are they? And why the sudden interest in saving her?

Perhaps the answers are 6,000 miles away, deep inside the British Secret Intelligence Service, where a former, disgraced, senior officer is attempting to weasel his way back into the heart of the organization. But do they really know what this cunning fox’s intentions are?

And can The China Teacup withstand one more knock?

Illicit arms dealing, murder and corruption at the highest level. Prepare for a deadly game of bluff, double-bluff and triple-bluff.
