This book kept me reading--I want to tell you that right up front AND I will be getting the rest of this series. Alexandra Sokoloff will keep you on the edge of your seat with this spine tingling tale of murder--a lot of murders--enough that Special Agent Roarke is beginning to suspect a serial killer--but not just any serial killer--a female. They can't find anything in common with the men being murdered--but there is one--trust me!

Meanwhile this lady can hide in plain site which she does quite easily since law enforcement can't quite get their minds around a female sserial killer. She befriends a divorcee and his young son--or should I say originally the young boy finds and befriends her on a beach near where they live. She lies to the Dad and ends up moving in with them.

All will be answered at the end and although I probably should not admit this--I kind of sympathized with the woman!!

About the Book: (from Amazon)

A Thriller Award nominee for Best eBook Original Novel... Book 1 in award-winning author Alexandra Sokoloff's riveting new Huntress FBI series about a driven FBI agent on the hunt for that most rare of all killers: a female serial.

FBI Special Agent Matthew Roarke is closing in on a bust of a major criminal organization in San Francisco when he witnesses an undercover member of his team killed right in front of him on a busy street, an accident Roarke can’t believe is coincidental. His suspicions put him on the trail of a mysterious young woman who appears to have been present at each scene of a years-long string of “accidents” and murders, and who may well be that most rare of killers: a female serial.

Roarke’s hunt for her takes him across three states...while in a small coastal town, a young father and his five-year old son, both wounded from a recent divorce, encounter a lost and compelling young woman on the beach and strike up an unlikely friendship without realizing how deadly she may be.

As Roarke uncovers the shocking truth of her background, he realizes she is on a mission of her own, and must race to capture her before more blood is shed.

I love a good mystery! My Mom and I often share book titles and authors, this sounds like it would be right up her alley.

I have been reading so much more since I got to Florida. I take a book out on the back porch and can sit and read for hours. Sounds like a great book series for me to get started on.

Don't you just love it when you find a book and want to run out and get the rest of the series right away? Those are so rare!

It sounds weird to say it, but I love books about serial killers. They are fascinating thriller material.

Thrillers like this one are always a good read. There is just so much suspense that you cannot help turning the page to find out what is going to happen next.

This may sound strange, but I don't read mystery. I don't watch scary movies either. I don't like the idea of killing, someone disappearing etc. I am sure its a great read. :)
