E-Book GA-3-WW-Murder at the Cooking School (Book #7)-Dianne Harman Ends 10/5

Monday, September 14, 2015

Kelly and her husband never quite got to go on a honeymoon and finally they are going--To Italy-To a Cooking School where Kelly is hoping to pick up some pointers on how to create some new dishes for Kelly's Koffee Shop. She really did learn to whip up some temptingly delicious recipes some of which you will at the back of the book--but the owner of the cooking school is murdered and Kelly just happens to be around to pick up on clues much to Mike's and the police chiefs distress.

There are five viable suspects, the owner of the cooking school was not a person that very many people liked--except for her very big dog. A gentle giant who attached himself to Kelly after his owner was murdered. So much for a honeymoon with a giant dog in bed with you!!

Another fast and wonderful read by an author I find I want to read more from and as quickly as possible! And the recipes in this novel--lets just say they are to die for!!

About the Book: (from Amazon)

7 time Amazon All Star Author with her latest (book #7) in the award winning Cedar Bay Cozy Mystery Series.

Cooking is nourishing. Murder isn’t. Kelly and her husband, Sheriff Mike, take a belated honeymoon and travel to a cooking school at the Castello di Nardo in Tuscany. The day after they arrive, they learn that Signora Nardo, the owner of the cooking school, has been murdered.

The Signora had her share of people who would like to see the first lady of the castle dead, including her brother, Salvadore, her lover, Giovanni, her lover’s wife, Angelica, the Signora’s husband, a rival cooking school owner, and her sister-in-law, who happens to be the resident chef at the cooking school. Identifying suspects isn’t the problem – finding out which of the suspects killed the Signora is.

Follow Kelly, Mike, and her new four-legged furry friend, Caesar, while they help the local chief of police try to solve the murder. There’s plenty of mouth-watering food, recipes, and a very big guard dog.

About the Author: (from Amazon)

Dianne Harman draws her stories and characters from a diverse business and personal background. She owned a national antique and art appraisal business for many years, left that industry, and opened two yoga centers where she taught yoga and certified yoga instructors. She's traveled extensively throughout the world, most recently dividing her time between Huntington Beach, California and Sacramento, California, where her husband was a Senator. An avid reader, Dianne brings the richness of her life experiences to her novels, Blue Coyote Motel, Coyote in Provence, and Cornered Coyote - all of which are available now in the Coyote Series.

Being a dog lover and having attended numerous cooking schools, she couldn't resist writing about food and dogs, thus the Cedar Bay Cozy Mystery Series and the Liz Lucas Cozy Mystery Series, which include family recipes! Kelly's Koffee Shop, Murder at Jade Cove, White Cloud Retreat, Marriage and Murder, Murder in the Pearl District, Murder in Cottage #6, and her latest book, Murder and Brandy Boy, have all been on the top of the culinary, cozy, and animal charts within a week of being published, Kelly's Koffee Shop was voted as one of the top 30 Best Self-Published Books of 2014.

Several books in the cozy mystery series have been designated by Amazon as All-Stars because of their sales and Dianne has been named by Amazon as being one of their most popular authors.

An Award Winning Bestseller, Blue Coyote Motel was selected as a quarter finalist in Amazon's Breakthrough Novel Award contest, Goodreads Psychological Thriller of the Month Book, and e-thriller Book of the Month. Blue Coyote Motel and Coyote in Provence were finalists in Chanticleer's CLUE awards contest.

This is certainly a 'rare' story. I hope the author didn't just 'whip' it up and the killer gets his just "desserts"! ;)

Hokey smokes that was a long list of people wanting to off her. The bad news? They're all people who are supposed to love her, well most of them anyway. Poor gal!
