I have been trying to get my life in some kind of order--but chaos seems to be following me. Yes, I have health insurance-but all of a sudden they say my doctor is not on their plan? I spent 2 hours and finally they admitted that possibly there was a mistake made--then I called NYS Insurance and was informed that I had to reapply--1 hour later--done! Then I get an email that I have to have the first payment in early? Okay-----remember that I won't be able to use it until they straighten out my doctor!! Top that off with--I turn 65 in September (when did that happen?) and Medicare will automatically put me on--unfortunately I will then tell my insurance company and see if I want their Medicare Supplementary Ins or find a different one. It really does depend on whether they accept my doctor again--I am thinking AARP! Unfortunately even though Medicare does not require referrals--I would still need one because of the secondary ins. My car needs it's yearly inspection this month--the remaining bookkeeping clients I have keep switching dates on me and I am trying valiantly to keep up with reading and reviewing books!!!!!

I've had several negatives this year but today I got a great big positive... New windows for my entire house paid for by my father in law. I am so excited about my pretty new windows it is unreal. Hopefully things will turn up soon for you too.

Well, we're having our company luncheon on Friday and we get to go home after so that's nice for me. I was the first person at my library to get the latest season of True Blood on DVD and I'm into the next to last show and enjoying it.
My parents, sister and her hubby will come to my place for Christmas!
My sister recently had a brain tumor removed and tested. She is oficially cancer free! Now all she has to focus on is recovering and getting her strength back.

Some great news is although I had to leave my job due to health reasons it made it possible for a great oppourtunity to come along for my husband and he was picked out of 96 applicants for a fantastic union company with a huge jump in pay.
It's my birthday today and my son will meet Santa today.

Here's something that is sure to make you laugh. I received a puzzle as a gift in 1998. Worked on the puzzle off and on from 1998 until 2006 except that I'm missing two pieces. Guess what i found last night when I was cleaning my storage room? ONE of the missing pieces!
We sign the lease on a THREE bedroom trailer with a TWO car garage tomorrow night! I am so excited!

We a taking up kitchen floor, putting new floor down. We can't find skill saw NO WHERE, took a piece of new floor up there it is. This happen yesterday.

We plan to travel this Christmas to our hometown to spend with our families. Yay!
My daughter turns 4 on Dec. 29th. She was born 11 weeks early and only weighed 1 lb. 8 oz. She beat the odds and is now healthy and a total sassypants!
I was trying to help my 25 year old daughter get ready for a play that she was in and she had to have jewels around her eyes. We got the jewels but couldn't figure out how they would stick so she decided to use nail glue. The jewels stuck to my finger and thumb, then my finger and the jewel stuck to her nose. I pulled, she yelled and then we tried again. We started laughing so hard after 4 attempts and she said no more because she had a gob of glue by her nose and it hurt. After we wiped off the tears, I went home. She called me cracking up and said "the jewels are self sticking!!" Oppps. ha ha ha
I have a new Great Great Niece :) She is gorgeous!
We put up our Christmas tree and as always the cats try to climb it.
I am very excited to almost be all ready for Christmas. Tree is up, decorations are hung...yeah!

My teenage daughters were in a serious car accident in March that left my then 16 year old dead at the scene.God breathed life back into her and I brought her home 5 weeks later. After a summer of tons of appointments she started her junior year with her class in August. God has worked miracles and had so much mercy on me this year. Today she's nearly at 100%, if you were to talk to her you would have no idea that she'd been in a coma on life support for 10 days and has a traumatic brain injury. I have so much to be thankful for this year!

Fantastic news for me, I only have a couple more presents to pick up for Christmas.
It's been raining all day, but my umbrella is pretty solid :-)
1. My soulmate/bff love of my live, husband Todd, who works long hours, is getting 2 weeks off for Xmas vacation! YAY!
2. I just found out one of the people we are the closest to and love the most is getting married (I can't say who yet.)
3. My Dr is helping me wean off a serious medication I have needed very much for the past 8 yrs as we are hoping I don't need it anymore and I am super excited about it because it has a lot of serious major side effects that I will be thrilled to be freed from and even though weaning off this med is notorious for severe withdrawal side effects in many people, so far I have been blessed to have none!
4. We are happy and excited to have been able to just get our bedroom painted a pretty pale silvery gray color before our xmas guests arrive this month.
5. My husband and I decided that we can finally sell our SUV that we got when we were raising our 5 kids who are all adults on their own now, and this spring we are going to sell it and get a new Dodge Challenger with stripes, just for us! Can't wait!

I'm a first time grandma! My granddaughter is 2 weeks today and she is healthy and beautiful! Amazing the love you have for a grandchild,it's like what you feel for your kids and it has made my love for them feel even deeper.Also before she was connived both my daughter and her bf was on a not good path but now they are on are on good track and my relationship with my daughter was strained now it is awesome! I thank God everyday that eventhouh I wouldn't have chosen for her to have a baby at 17,it's saved her life and our relationship,she loves her momma now!

Great news!!! Long story but I went to let my dogs out yesterday at 7am and heard a cat screaming from my barn, (I feed strays that I call my Kitty's) So I go dashing outside in the snow in my t-shirt and underwear, yea i live in a city so the world saw!! To find the kitty trapped in our swap cooler, how it got there I still don't no, it got inside the part that spins, I spent 2 hours cutting it out finally using tin snips after cutting belts, undoing screws and bending all the metal I could.. yea swap cooler is dead!! Poor thing was soaked from urine and poo and could barely walk, but I saw it today and it is doing ok, when i took them there beef stew Mean kitty that is what i call that one, was not looking to happy but was alive and seemed ok, so for me this was great news. thank you for the giveaway. I no at this time of year I can use cheer and this made me happy so I hope it brings you a smile.

My husband broke his foot and the day he thought the doctor was dismissing him he found another fracture. He then had to have another operation and he was so excited to get the stiches out. As soon as that happen the doctor put him in a cast for 2 months. It might not sound funny, but he get's the cast off tomorrow and by next week it will be funny.

Well way to go to reach the magic number 65, I did too alos on Medicare and I did get my supplemental from AARP and with it and my hubbys GM insurance my 25 thousand dollar hospital bill from this summer was paid all but approximately 300.oo dollars which I handled, I have not had to worry about referrals, but always check to be sure your doctor takes medicare, a lot of them do not anymore. but you know what at least we have the option of getting insurance, you take care and smile, you are loved.

My good news is that after 2 1/2 weeks of my back hurting so bad that I couldn't stand up straight today I was able to and the pain is almost gone so I may not have to go to the Dr. appt. that I scheduled next week.
