Book Review-Stillwell-A Haunting on Long Island-Michael Phillip Cash

Thursday, April 17, 2014

As promised (and I always keep my promises if at all humanly possible!) here is my review of Michael Phillip Cash's book "Stillwell, A Haunting on Long Island". Now the only book I have not read by this author is BroodX and I Just went in and bought it. All of his books are currently .99 but I am not sure how long that will last! I am also anxiously awaiting the third book in the Battle for Darracia series.

This mystery suspense novel will grab you and keep you guessing till the very end. Imagine being haunted by a demon while you are still grieving for someone you love. In this case Paul was left with two children when his wife died and is inconsolable but knows he has to get himself together for the sake of his children. He begins to have nightmares which ultimately lead him to Stillwell Manor. Will he be able to solve the mystery so his wife's soul can finally be at rest? Well, I'm certainly not going to give away the story, you know me better then that! You really should pick up a copy of this book. You will not be sorry!!

I usually don't read books with demons in them. The suspense in this book does sound good though.

Who doesn't love a good mystery! I have to admit though I"m one of those bad people who flip to the end of the book first to see how it turns out!!

This is one I might not want to read when I am all alone. I would have to wait until my Hubs was home. LOL what a sissy I am.

Wow - this sounds like a pretty intense book. Can't even begin to imagine how this poor man must have felt and then insert a demon - wow! Adding to my must read :)

It's a good twist to have the tormenting going on when the person's already going through a hard time. Isn't that just the way!

My mom seems to think that when someone dies their spirit kind of lingers around for a bit. Hope it's not a demon. This book sounds like it would really freak me out! Not sure how long I would be able to sit and read it!

It sounds like I,too, would have nightmares lol It's great when you find books that come to life for you. My favorite author just died yesterday and that's how I feel about his books.
