Book Review-Collision-The Battle for Darracia-Michael Phillip Cash

Wednesday, April 2, 2014

After having read the first in the Darracia series I knew I had to read the second one. Book Review-Schism-The Battle for Darracia-Michael Phillip Cash Click in to read my review! If possible I enjoyed this at least if not more then the 1st one. I normally do not read novels geared toward a YA audience, but am making a definite exception with this series.

The King has been murdered and his son is having trouble allowing himself to be crowned. Evil forces abound in this one but there is also a whole lot of good. AND if you think I can be a tease not letting you know what is going to happen--Michael Phillip Cash is a MASTER--I am eagerly awaiting the 3rd book in this series to see what happens to the new young king who is thrown to his death(?) in a watery grave and to his Mom who has been sent off to be a slave!

And look for my review of Stillwell-A Haunting on Long Island, what a book!!

About the Book: (from Amazon)

The Darracia saga continues with all the key players spread out and searching for answers throughout the solar system. Prince V'sair struggles to hold his fractured kingdom together without help from his family. His stepbrother Zayden is on a vengeful hunt for his evil uncle Staf Nuen. Tulani navigates her two worlds trying to bring them together. Staf Nuen, the orchestrator of the original coup, is making unholy alliances with nefarious new allies. Like the comet zipping across the horizon, all the different factions are heading for a collision course that will test both their faith and power.

I have gotten more into YA books lately and enjoy them. I had not heard of this series. Thanks for sharing and the teasers!

I need a book geared toward the OA (old adult) crowd. LOL... This book would be one my Granddaughters would enjoy and one of them has a birthday coming up soon. This would be a little something extra to give her.

It's always great when you enjoy the second book more than the first...it keeps the momentum up for the rest of the series!

Oh goodness, this doesn't look quite like something I would read, but you did a beautiful review of it!

My dearest son's friend is into sci fi. He's a teen and I always have a hard time figuring out what to get him. I think he'd enjoy this book.

I try but I can't really get into the young adult books. I might watch it but sometimes they are just too cheesy for me. But I'll definitely pass this along to someone I know would love it!

That's good that he's mastered the art of not revealing what's going to happen. I think that's a huge part of what makes a book good!

I love anything that involves a king. I'm like you or actually, I almost find some young adult stuff kind of boring but this sounds interesting.
