Book Review/Giveaway-Finding Harmony-Pamela Fagan Hutchins-Ends 2/21

Thursday, January 23, 2014

Finding Harmony is the third book in the Annalise Series I have read. I think it is the last in this series although I wish it wasn't. I kind of hope she will continue with this series. I do suggest you read this series in order as references are made to the prior books. The First book in the series is Saving Grace (click to see my review); the second is Leaving Annalise click to see my review. I enjoyed the first two books so much that when the author contacted me to ask if I would read and review the third-I immediately replied YES!!

I don't know how she does it but Pamela Fagan Hutchins manages to combine voodoo, mystery, suspense and romance and will have you laughing and wondering and truly getting into the story. The characters are just that, characters with a capital C . Some you will love, some you will just shake your head--but for sure you are going to love the ghost who inhabits the house and watches over the family!! I really can't say enough about this book and the previous two. These are all very quick reads simply because you will not be able to put them down. Her writing style will keep you entertained and the only thing I will say is--you will have to read this book to see how it all ends (f you read this Pamela Fagan Hutchins--PLEASE keep this series going!!)

About the Book: (from Amazon)

Multi-award winning, Bestselling Romantic Mystery Series
Finding Harmony takes you on a high stakes dash through the islands, with laughs and voodoo balancing out the mix.

Katie’s already on edge when a dead guy shows up at Estate Annalise and shady locals claim there are slave remains in the foundation, but when Nick doesn’t come home to her and the kids one day after work, she’s ready to lose it. A frantic Katie launches a Caribbean-wide manhunt, calling on Kurt, her stoic, steady father-in-law, and Collin, her bad ass big brother, to help her search air, land, and sea for her husband, who may be in very big trouble indeed.

In all honesty, I am not fans of books in a series. I like hit and run books where I can just read it and be done with it. More than one is such a big commitment for me haha.

This totally look so interesting. I definitely want this - by how you describe it I think they would even go well with a movie too.

After visiting her site it seems to me she likes romance and a lot of humor in her stories and that is diffently a good thing to have (humor) people need it

I really hope that it won't be the last book in the series, but you never know it might not be.

Looks interesting! I have so many books that I love that comes in a series though...sometimes it's a bit or a chore to get through them all. I'm CRAWLING through A Song of Ice and Fire series right now, lol. But I may have to look into this set of books and give them a try after I finish!

This sounds like a great series! I love magic and romance combined. In fact, I can only read romance if it is mixed with suspense or some kind of supernatural element. Definitely checking this one out!

The thing I hate about series is the cliffhangers at the end. I like to wait until all the books come out and read them all at once;

I love a good mystery book -- especially one you can read in a day! Although these days, I don't have much time for reading series with a little one in the house! Great review.

Unlike Robin, I DO love books in a series. I get so attached to those characters, I always hate it when the series is over! These sound intriguing!

I love the adventure plot of this story, my kind of read. Just like her, I think I would lose it too if my husband does not come home one day.

Love your site and love the review. It makes such a difference went reviewers put the time in to describe what makes the book different and in REAL ways, why you like or dont like the particular book. Well Done.

I love series and tend to read them all back to back but I love when they're all out already. I don't like waiting for the next one.
