Ashe Equestrian-A Review

Tuesday, August 14, 2012

As I was browsing through Ashe Equestrian, Ireland’s number one supplier of Horse Riding & Equestrian Equipment, several things came to mind. First I thought about the Knight in shining armor who I dreamed would come one day on a big white steed and carry me away—I still love historical romances—the second was when I was about 7 or 8 and was taken for riding lessons in Van Cortlandt Park (Bronx, NY) and immediately started sneezing whether from the hay or the horse I really don’t know-but that was the end of my riding lessons!! Then, when I was about 13 I was with my parents at a job convention in the Catskills—I went with some of the other young people horseback riding---lets just say that I managed to stay on the horse—but oh was I ever sore in EVERY muscle of my body!! No, I never attempted that again!!

Looking through this site made me realize shorts and sneakers are not what you are supposed to wear horseback riding (yes, I was wearing shorts and sneakers)
I definitely would have felt safer with one of the body protectors and a Helmut not to mention jodhpurs and good sturdy boots and perhaps a pair of chaps-Ashe Equestrian sells all of these for men, woman and children in a variety of styles and colors!

They also sell everything for your horse from bandages to saddles to turn out rugs to horseware, mountain horse boots and everything in-between.

What a perfect place for the horse owner to come for a one stop shop—and for others to browse in amazement-- Ashe Equestrian!!
