A child's hearing is so important my grandson was born deaf we cried and were so worried about how this was going to affect his life. But after so much testing at 8 mths old one dr wanted to go and put tubes in is ears and see if that might open the canal to see if he would get any hearing at all. Well I love this Dr. cause during the surgery they found out why he was deaf his ear canal was plugged solid with something they said looked like a hard dry glue they got all of it out put tubes in to see if it was going to keep the canal open they didn't know if this stuff would come back or not. Well Praise God our grandbaby could hear we cried with joy and so far the stuff has not came back.

We had both of our kid's hearing checked when they were very young in order to be sure there were no issues as we know how much a hearing impairment can interfere with learning. Also, we limited their exposure to loud music, etc.
