From the acclaimed graphic novel comes an epic adventure about a world beyond imagination. But as she boldly confronts her fears in increasingly dangerous ways, her new school counselor (Zoe Saldana, Guardians of the Galaxy) leads her to question everything she’s always believed to be true. I teach my children to stand up for themselves by talking to them about it. My husband is very good at teaching them this as well.

I teach them by explaining to them to not be afraid to tell adults when there’s a problem. I also teach them to stand up for themselves, their peers, and to do the right thing.

No kids. I was proud of myself when I stood up to a guy at work who kept harassing me. He got written up.
Thanks for the contest.

We teach them by talking to them about standing up for their self or if the problem is to bad not to be afraid to talk to a adult to help them.

I teach my son to stand up for himself. Unfortunately there are those instances when the smartest thing is to walk away. I have taught him it is not a weakness and in fact a certain type of bravery, to do so at times.

Parents need to be there for years, when our oldest teenage daughter had a young man stalking her. Her dad had a talk with a police officer asking him to talk to the young man . The police did talk to him , and they were going to keep a eye on the problem. This let the guy know other people were watching.

I'm just the proud auntie but I do try to teach my young family members by being a good role model and always being there to listen when they have an issue.

My kids are both out the house, but i taught them to stand up for what they feel is right and to stand up for those without a voice.

I teach them that their voice is just as important as mine. Speak up whenever you want!

I've always taught my kids to come to me if someone was bothering them. My children were always open to me.

I am only 24 so I am basically still a kid myself. If I had kids I'd tell them that they are important and to speak for what they believe in. Not everyone is going to agree with you, but everyone has a right to their opinion. Some people just have wrong opinions.

I think that our children and grandchildren should have an adult to talk to instead of handling the situation by themselves.

I teach my son to speak up for himself and call kids out when they are being mean.

I love that KILL GIANTS deals with courage and standing up for yourself as I always teach my kids be kind and courteous but not allow themselves to be hurt or bullied! Nicole Bowers

We teach them by building their self esteem and through education.
