Book Review-Love Beyond Time (A Scottish Time Travel Romance): Book 1 (Morna's Legacy Series)-Bethany Claire

Wednesday, February 14, 2018

Time Travel, switching character's from one time period to another which causes some happy and some unhappy circumstances. Couple all that with a Scottish castle way back when, a Mom who is an archeologist, rwo girls who are almost identical in looks (but not personality)--Then throw in some magic spells. This is a read you definitely do not want to miss all you Historical Romance, Time Travel lovers and romantics!

The characters are so well described you will feel like you know them personally. My favorite is Mary! She made me shake my head in wonder as she just takes everything in stride and bullies the two gentleman of the house. I can't say much more or I may give away the plot. All I can say is read this one--not only won't you be sorry but you might find yourself wanting to read the rest of this series. It is a good one!

About the Book: (from Amazon)

#1 Amazon Bestseller in Time Travel Romance by USA TODAY Bestselling Author, Bethany Claire

Do You Love Scottish Time Travel, Sexy Highlanders, Romance, Magic, and Mystery? "Love Beyond Time" will make you laugh, cry, and leave you eager for more.

It began nearly four hundred years ago. The Conall clan and all their people were murdered in a surprise attack, their beloved castle and all evidence of who destroyed them burned to the ground with their bodies. In the centuries following, archaeologists searched through the ruins looking for any evidence of what or who had caused the untimely demise of such a powerful Scottish clan. All efforts were fruitless, until a spell put in place by an ancient Conall ancestor finally began to work its magic...

Texas kindergarten teacher, Brielle Montgomery, finds comfort in the mundane routines of her life, but when her archaeologist mother asks her to accompany her on a dig in Scotland, she decides to step out of her comfort zone. Once in Scotland, they discover a secret spell room below the castle ruins, and Bri finds herself transported back in time and suddenly married to the castle's ill-fated Laird. Now, she must work to change the fate of his people, all while trying to find a way to return to her home and century. But with each passing day, Bri finds herself falling more deeply in love with her new husband. If she can find a spell to bring her home, will she use it? And if she stays, will it ultimately mean her own death as well?

˃˃˃ "Be swept away by Bethany Claire's miraculous love story that transcends time and space. Sexy, Scottish, time-travel. It doesn't get much better than this." DeWanna Pace, NY Times & USA Today Bestselling Author

This sounds very interesting. I usually prefer the 1800's, although, Scottish Castles and empires catch my attention frequently. Also I'm a sucker for an old fashion romance. Can't wait to see if she chooses to go or stay!

I will have to telly my sister in law about this one. She lived in Scotland for a few years. I bet she would enjoy it.

I don't really read romance in the conventional type that most think of. However this one has a twist of time-travel. I may have to look more into it.
