Book Review - Shadow in the Reflection

Monday, October 22, 2012

Do you believe you may have lived before in another century and country? Or maybe know someone who you never saw before-but you know them inside out and upside down. Do you often think about it? Well, Shadow in the Reflection is about all this-this Fantasy written by Joe Niehaus and Mary Sikora will start you thinking—again!!

It took me a chapter or two to get into this book—but get into it I certainly did! I Could barely put it down. It all starts off with Dr Ambrose, a psychiatrist who wants Anne, as part of her therapy, to go back in time to where her current day problems began. He, however, starts to get too involved and gets a friend of his, another psychiatrist named Tom to join in. Tom will only be an observer. Meanwhile Tom has a client who decides to go under deep hypnotic regression as well.

The bulk of the book is what transpired way back when the Vikings used to fight among themselves and with the Britons and Saxons. When Druids still roamed the earth and the beginning of Christianity took hold in Briton. It is extremely interesting. It is a story about love that transcends centuries.

I really don’t want to spoil this book for you so this is all I am going to say!

Tomorrow the author is going to have a guest post on my blog—I will be very interested in what he has to say!!
