This is one series I look forward to reading with every new one put out! Do you like warm, fuzzy feeling novels filled with good will and love and delicious cookies? (Cookie recipes at the end of the story) Then this series is one you will enjoy. I have read them all and although it helps if you read them in order--there is really no need-but fair warning--you will want to read the rest!!
The Timberton Hotel is like a home away from home--guests reappear each Christmas to partake in the marvelous hospitality and camaraderie with the help of the resident chef and artist Mist. The owner of the hotel is lovable as is her boyfriend who is forever stealing food before the guests-he is the official taste tester! He has a sixth sense of when to appear in the kitchen!!

A good Chef's knife is always a good utensil to own-actually owning more then one is not such a bad idea-I happen to need a new one right now. I'm not certain what the tape light is or does--my guess is that there is a light so that if you have to measure something where there is little to no light this will definitely make it a lot easier to get the correct measurement.
