Oh how I am going to miss the characters in this series. If anyone had told me I would fall in love with a YA series I would have laughed--but the laugh is on me. From the first book to the last I was enthralled. I read each one in one sitting--and hungered for more. I hope at some point Christine Amsden will continue the saga--there are many directions she could take. To read my reviews of the first three click on the links below where the books are listed in order. The about the book below about says it all without giving anything away--and there are an awful lot of things happening!

My favorite series is Harry Potter and it ends satisfactorily.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite series of books is The Lord of the Rings. It ended very satisfactory.
ReplyDeleteI have often fell in love with YA books :), My favorite series would have to be either The Hunger Games of The Vampire Academy.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for following this series and for being part of my tour!
ReplyDeleteI'm a huge fan of YA literature. And, I have come to trust your reviews -- so I'll add this series to my list for 2015. I'm struggling to get through the 2014 list (about 2 books behind right now). Thanks!
ReplyDeleteMore great reading suggestions from you; I need more summers to get these all in!!
ReplyDeleteDark Fever Series and Vampire Academy series. Loved them. They ended great. I loved the first two books in the Divergent series but hated book 3.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like an adventurous series! My niece might be interested in this. I'll have to see if she knows about it. Thanks!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite series has always been the Lord of the Rings Trilogy (plus the Hobbit). Read it in high school and re-read it a couple times since!
ReplyDeleteI always get sad at the end of a series. Like you, I never thought I would like the YA genre, but my niece has introduced me to some books that I just love from it. I guess you never know what's going to grow on you until you try :)
ReplyDeleteFTR, this series isn't *exactly* YA. The main character is 21, and I would not recommend it for younger teens. I consider it "New Adult" -- a cross-over genre. Or, as I like to tell people, I'm in my thirties and I wrote if for me! :)
ReplyDeleteI love a good book series! They are great while they last, but sometimes you feel like you've lost a best friend when they end!
ReplyDeleteThe hunger games isn't over yet.
