Kindle Fire GA/Book Review w/Trailer-Cassie Scott-Paranormal Detective-US Only 8/16

Thursday, June 6, 2013

What a delightful book!! In a town filled with sorcerers Cassie’s whole family is one of the most powerful—but somehow Cassie has none of these powers. She decides that she is going to be a Private Investigator-a NORMAL one. Well, with her last name being Scot-people keep coming to her and expect her to be able to “fix” things”. She finally gets a real job from a man she used to be friends with way back when (he is one of the powerful sorcerers) and the story gets moving—fast and furious. This book is definitely worth reading-I give it 5 bright stars!!

About the book:

Cassie Scot is the ungifted daughter of powerful sorcerers, born between worlds but belonging to neither. At 21, all she wants is to find a place for herself, but earning a living as a private investigator in the shadow of her family's reputation isn't easy. When she is pulled into a paranormal investigation, and tempted by a powerful and handsome sorcerer, she will have to decide where she truly belongs.

And here is the trailer!!

About the author:

Award-winning author Christine Amsden has written stories since she was eight, always with a touch of the strange or unusual. She became a “serious” writer in 2003, after attending a boot camp with Orson Scott Card. She finished Touch of Fate shortly afterward, then penned The Immortality Virus. Expect many more titles by this up-and-coming author.

I can't seem to find a fan page for Kimberly Neve Bartlett on Facebook at all. I've done an extensive search. I just thought I'd let you know.

Thank you for the opportunity to win a Kindle. I wouldn't be able to ever own one otherwise and I'd really love the chance to. :)
