Cast Iron Cookware

Years ago i purchased a grill/griddle that looks exactly like the one pictured above. One side is flat-the other is the griddle which is what I use a lot. It fits over two burners on my 4 burner stove. My only problem with it is I have trouble cleaning it so I generally place which ever meat I am cooking on aluminum foil then put that on top of the griddle. Although it works really well I think I need something m bit smaller and easier for this old lady to handle. You can find out more about the grill/griddle pictured above by clicking here .

I used to have a iron pan--I have no idea what happened to it. Maybe I got rid of it when I found the above! There is nothing like Cast Iron to make food taste great!! Whether you use it on a stove top like I do or on an outside grill--iron is a great at distributing heat evenly. Of course it can be heavy and when glancing through what is on Amazon there are so many of them. I think the one I might get for myself and as a gift for a friend who has been wanting one is the Victoria Cast Iron Grill Pan.
