$25 Amazon/PP-1-WW-Holly & the Cyberbully: A Holly Lewis Mystery Book 11-Dianne Harman Ends 6/24

Tuesday, June 8, 2021

I have never been bullied--nor have I ever bullied anyone. Levi, Holly's friend was being cyber bullied--but he was too embarrassed to say anything--even though Holly knew something was wrong.

It eventually came out when they realized several other people were also being bullied. Holly was bound and determined to find out who was doing this and to stop them!

Although I am not going to tell you how she stopped it--I loved the way she did it--and I think you will too!!

About the Book: (from Amazon)

If students are afraid to look at their phones when they receive a text message, it means one thing. There’s a cyberbully on the loose.

Do you remember the old playground bully from elementary school? The one you tried to avoid at all costs? Well, cyberbullying takes that kind of conduct to a whole new level. Holly’s afraid her friend, Levi, is being targeted by one, however, she can’t get him to admit it, even though it’s clear from his behavior that something is very wrong.

But Levi runs out of excuses when he, as well as several other students, have their cars vandalized and horrible things written on them while they’re parked in the school parking lot.

Once Levi admits what’s been happening, Holly has no choice. She has to find out who is threatening her friend and several other students. She’s certain it’s a student, but which one?

All of us well remember the angst that goes with being a teenager. That’s enough for anyone, but throw in cyberbullying, and it adds a new layer of difficulty in dealing with the teenage years.

This book is about bullying issues that your child, your grandchild, or even you may have had to deal with when you were a teenager, only on a very modern level. It’s a book for the young and the young-at-heart, written by a USA Today Bestselling Author.

I have not been bullied or cyberbullied. I can't imagine how difficult it must be to go through something like that.

I think everyone goes through a bit of cyberbullying at some time. The best response is to disengage from the bully in any way necessary.

My daughter was bullied and cyber-bullied when she was a teen. It was horrible. Rumours spread like wildfire, and the teachers did nothing. She ended up quitting highschool.

My sister has been cyber bullied and it is hard to control what this anonymous person is doing to your life. It wasnt as bad as some cases so we were able to block them on social media.

I'm so glad that I did not have to live through the era of cyberbullying. I feel for kids these days.

Most of my friends and me were bullied. My mom would try to talk to the mom of the bully, it didn't help much. A friend of my was bullied my a boy (a very mean guy). So she told him to stop , he won't so she hit him. His mom was watching the whole time. My friend said to the mom . "I'm sorry I hit him but he won't stop." The boy's mom said. " He has to learn if he insults someone they may fight back. He never learned, later in his life someone killed him. Some bullies never grow up .

I was bullied in fifth grade, but haven't been cyber bullied. It was pretty traumatic for me and I believe it affected who I became.

I was bullied by a former boss, luckily, she left for a better job so I didn’t have to put up with it for long.

I was definitely bullied from at least the 5th grade, all the way through high school. And even beyond that. It was a painful time in my life.

I was bullied from my first day of kindergarten to my last day of high school. I never got it to stop-I just ignored it. I also did not go to any school functions. Some kids just get picked on, and that was me.

Fortunately I have never experienced bullying. If it happened I would probably try to ignore it and avoid the bullies.

I was bullied in Junior High School because my friends & I were into Heavy Metal music. It didn't bother me. I thought it was funny yet stupid being called a devil worshipper, evil etc. but they would follow us taunting us. I would turn it around on them & say things like "Well watch your back you never know when this devil might put a spell on you" I remember they would be like yeah right but at the same time worried because they just didn't know! haha

Bullied in elementary school. No, it never stopped.

My son was bullied in elementary school. The teachers did nothing because the bully was a disabled boy in a wheelchair. He could get away with it because of his condition - he paid the bigger sized kids to bully my son.

No, thankfully I’ve not experienced this.
