I don't know about you but I find that I use my scissors all the time! I have a pair in one of my drawers where I have my desk as well--but I am ALWAYS going for the scissors in my kitchen drawer.
So many things come wrapped tightly in plastic and then there are the bags that I can't seem to pull apart. Just as an example I had to use my scissor to open a ham steak that I wanted for dinner last night--the night before that it was a chicken breast. Even one of my cat's treat need a snip before I can squeeze it out for her! Boxes that have shrink wrap that needs to be removed--well sometimes I use a knife for that but usually I just kind of cut that plastic film so I can pull it off.
