Fortune Cookie Toolkit GA-4-US Ends 3/22

Sunday, March 8, 2020

Are you planning for your kiddos future yet? Using a Roth IRA is one way. This can help them pay for college, or even a first home if they keep saving.  Fortune Cookie is a company that developed a way to save for future, and have your kids help you at the same time. So many kids love to bake with their parents, so why not combine the two and sell them to save. Katrina over at Top Notch Material is hosting a giveaway and wanting 4 of you to win your own box. We wanted in on this, so, here is your chance to win a box for yourself and check out the company at the same time. Before you enter for your chance to win, here are a few benefits of the Fortune Cookie Toolbox:

Sponsored by Fortune Cookie Hosted by Top Notch Material

Now this is a great way to teach your children the whys and where fores of business. They will bake, package and sell the cookies. Parents etc can pay them per the business agreement agreed upon--or they can sell them at a craft fair--or donate them for charity. They will definitely learn the value of hard work leading to financial gain!

Planning for your kids future with a Roth IRA. Use Fortune Cookie as a tool to establish a savings account for your kids. As you and your kids bake, pay your kids for their hard work, packaging, and delivering the cookies, using a receipt to keep track of payment.

Developing financial literacy in kids. Fortune Cookie presents kids with the opportunity to begin teaching them about finances and the importance of saving. Starting this learning journey young will help kids down the road to adulthood.

Bring cookies to encourage community engagement. Once you and your kids finish baking, and packaging, venture to local businesses to begin a friendly dialogue, this will give your kids a chance to engage with the local community and showcase your small business.

My daughter loves to do sugar cookies the most. Probably because she gets to decorate with sprinkles. And by decorate I mean pour the entire bottle onto one cookie LOL
