My cat is picky--I decided to stop at Boston Market and get their Prime Rib. They don't have it all the time and I had been craving beef. I don't eat it as much as I used to--but when I want it--I want it. I drove home with their take out box--mixed veggies (carrots and broccoli)-mashed potatoes-a corn muffin and Prime Rib.
Baby was very interested in it until I gave her a few small bites of the Prime Rib---she took one bite--then walked away!! I even tried to put it on the plate she usually gets her afternoon human snack--no way--Well I finished it all-it was really good. But she was still looking at me like she was starving----So, after I cleaned up I took a piece of the Boars Head Maple Sugar Ham which I had bought primarily fir her--tore it into bite size pieces--onto her plate it went---
SHE DEVOURED IT RIGHT AWAY!!
Now she is happy and taking a nap on her chair.
I also bought a piece of their Apple Pie--but I think I will enjoy that later this evening--I am stuffed!!

Well, she sounds like you - when she wants something she wants it and prime rib wasn't it. Actually, it sounds like there was a spice or flavor of some kind she didn't like for one reason or the other. Enjoy your late night snack!
Wow a kitty turning her nose up at prime rib?! How cute though, cats can be funny like that. They want what they want when they want it, lol.
Well, a kitty can be finicky. I know I have tried all kinds of different treats only to have mine snub many of them. Go figure! Thanks for sharing!
