Life is an extravaganza! figuring out how to hang tough and make the most of the wild ride is the challenge.

On my way to Oahu to join the rock musician and high school drop-out I had met in San Diego and married in Tijuana, I was nabbed by the police as a runaway. When the police let me go and the rock band broke up, my husband and I had to find another way to survive. Our next stop: Disney World where we trained to be chefs, courtesy of the Walt Disney World University. A GED for my husband and many more years of education landed us in academia at The Ohio State University. Retired now from my role as a professor in social work and behavioral science, I have picked up a long-time interest in writing fiction. I'm still married to the same sweet guy and live with him in the Palm Springs area. In addition to reading and writing fiction, I enjoy painting, hiking, hanging out with my handsome husband and tending to my Siamese kitties.

An award-winning and bestselling author I enjoy snooping into life's mysteries with fun, fiction, & food—California style! My books include the Jessica Huntington Desert Cities Mystery series set in the Coachella Valley near Palm Springs, the Corsario Cove Cozy Mystery series set on California’s Central Coast, and The Georgie Shaw Cozy Mystery series set in Orange County, California--the OC. Coming soon: The Misadventures of Betsy Stark also set here in the Coachella Valley. Find out more at http://www.desertcitiesmystery.com.

I might help a dog swimming for his life as best I could without risking a human life in the process.

Yes, I read this book in Summer Snoops Unleashed. I'd try to help a dog in distress but I'm not a very good swimmer. Corsario Cove is my favorite series by Anna Celeste Burke.

I have read this book, but not in Summer Snoops Unleashed. Since I'm not a good swimmer, I probably wouldn’t be able to save a dog, but I would try. I love all Anna Celeste Burke’s books, but the Jessica Huntington series is my favorite.

I would do pretty much anything to save a dog's life, particularly one of my three. Summer Snoops Unlea
shed is a great way to help my favorite species. Good idea from the authors.

Years ago I was visiting my sister and her family. We went nextdoor to my mom and dad's house and one of her kids came over and said Neuman (he was a daushound) got out of the yard. We started calling his name as we walked back to my sister's. Just then we heard splashing... Neuman managed to climb into the kids pool, he was drowding. I actually pushed my sister out d the way and jumped in and grabbed Newman. Kathy instantly started to do mouth to snout. Thankfully he was ok. It was soooo scary.

I have yet to read the Summer Snoops Unleashed. Been having issues with my eyes but soon will get back to reading because I feel naked not having a book (or at least my Kindle Tablet) in my hands or on my lap! Yes, without a second thought, I would attempt to save a dog in any situation if I can.

I am not a proficient swimmer but I would most certainly do what I was able to do to rescue a poor pup who is struggling to keep it's head above water. I would do the same for any person or animal. As far as having read Summer Snoops Unleashed it is in my pile of to be read books. Thanks for sharing the information. robeader53(at)yahoo(dot)com
