Lots going on in this housewife's life--and her husband was off traveling. Luckily her in-laws were the best and never said no to babysitting--her sister-in-law was pregnant and because of the meanest man in town (who happened to be Jill's neighbor)--thought he would not extend the lease to her store. Well said monster was found dead ---by Jill's dog just after she had delivered some brownies to him from her sister-in-law!

She really needed to go get a job-and she did--part time right near her son's pre school--then there was a fire and someone died in that fire--but she still had the job.

This cozy who done it is an easy read that will keep you guessing until the very end!

About the Book: (from Amazon)

When you're a mom of two little kids and your husband spends more time on business trips than he does at home, you start to go a little stir-crazy.

Before I had kids, I was a hotshot marketing manager. Now I'm lucky if there's no baby spit-up on my blouse in the morning when I rush to get my son to preschool before the Queen Bees reprimand me for being late yet again.

Where did the old me go?

I thought dipping my feet back into the marketing field with a nice little part-time job at my in-laws event center would help to ease my mom-life crisis.

What I didn't count on was finding my crotchety old neighbor's body behind a log on the beach -- or that Desi, my very pregnant sister-in-law, would be accused of his murder.

Becoming a real life Jessica Fletcher wasn't what I meant when I asked for a little more excitement in my life.

Nicole's website: www.NicoleEllisAuthor.com

I write contemporary sweet romances and cozy mysteries. I live in a small town in Washington State, near Seattle. I love to write about small coastal towns, although those that I write about are figments of my imagination.

I used to be a tax accountant, but realized that writing romantic stories about people falling in love or making my amateur sleuths discover secrets about their suspects was way more fun than depreciating assets.

There's never a dull moment in my household, with a tech geek husband, two small boys that keep me on my toes, two cranky cats, and a mischievous house rabbit. Tidbits of my everyday life have a tendency to find their way into my fiction, so watch out! :)
