I would like to say up front that I enjoyed this short novel so much that I went in and purchased Bulwark-the original that started this anthology! I still have 2 more in this anthology to read and will definitely be purchasing the rest of them! Short and well written stories!
Soul mates from different walks of life destined by fate to be separated-but never far from each others minds. JB Stratton a Georgia boy, the son of a peanut farmer, sees Ellie, the daughter of a rich Northerner the first day she attends class.
JB is accepted at Alabama on a full football scholarship and promises Ellie he will return to only her--she never returns his letters. Meanwhile JB has recurring nightmares where Ellie saves him.
They do get together and live happily ever after until Ellie dies--JB lives alone. Will he again be reunited with his soul mate?
