This one will keep your head spinning--Flashbacks of times past--then back to the present. Naomi met Nathan at a bar--they spoke--she fell in love then didn't hear from him. This did not help with her studies! Theirs was a whirlwind courtship once he reappeared on the scene. They decide to get married--her twin (not identical who was born at like 11:59 PM --she was born at 12:01 Am--were absolutely nothing alike. Neither her twin nor her domineering Mother liked him--and the fact that his parents would not attend the ceremony because they had to stay home and take care of the schizophrenic brother--Sound convoluted--yes it is!! Her BFF liked him----

They get married and are staying overnight in a hotel before boarding the plane for their ultimate destination. Naomi suddenly realizes that the cross that was her grandmothers was missing--and runs back to the car. She is abducted and wakes to find herself in a grave with a gun pointed at her head---she wakes up in a nice bedroom--but is chained to the bed!!

Who is this man who wears a hood over his face so she can't identify him? His voice sounds familiar but she can't place it.

Will Naomi escape? Who are the bad guys? The many twists and turns will eventually take you to the answer.

About the Author: (from Amazon)

Tori de Clare, born 1970, grew up in Manchester, UK. A private piano teacher and mum of four, she began writing in 2008. Her debut novel, Either Side of Midnight was released in 2013 and the popularity of the book persuaded Tori to write a trilogy! The Darkness Visible followed in 2015 and Shadows to Ashes was released in 2017 to very positive reviews. Tori is now working on an entirely new novel which is set to be released in 2019.

Tori believes in mixing work with pleasure. Her hobbies include music and writing, which is also her living. She doesn't want to be doing anything for hours a day which is not enjoyable. She's passionate about reading and loves the work of Ian McEwan and Maggie O'Farrell in particular. Exercise is a chore, but she forces herself to one Zumba class per week to ward off writer's bottom! And whenever possible she takes regular breaks to find the sun, England being somewhat allergic to it! People are her thing. Family is her anchor. Humour keeps her sane. Her first book is dedicated to her parents. Her dad who was an avid reader and died when she was just 18, and her mum who taught her to play the piano.
