I have been fighting a very dry nose and throat and chest for a while now. I have been resorting to using my asthma inhaler much more frequently--I definitely do not want to end up in the hospital again with a full blown asthma attack. My poor cat still hasn't quite gotten over the three times I had to leave in an ambulance in the middle of the night--then didn't return for a full week each time! Luckily I have really nice neighbors who took care of her!! If it is dark out and she is residing on top of my refrigerator and calling me (very loudly I might add)--all I have to do is head for the front door and say I'm leaving--does she ever come down fast and herd me into my bedroom!! I have been fighting taking over the counter allergy pills because they tend to dry me out even more---but I think the time has come---

I always buy the NON-Drowsy since I still have to go to clients and take my Mom everywhere so I reach for Claritin 24 hour It seems to work the best for me.

Please check with your doctor before taking any over the counter medications as they may interfere with what you are already taking!

Maybe I should try Claritin 24 hr. My allergy's peek and wane all through spring and summer. My normal medicine knocks me out so Non drowsie would be the choice. Of course I'll check with my pharmacist first since I take so many prescriptions.

{HUGS} I certainly hope you get to feeling better soon. Take care of yourself, my sister-in-law ended up with a sinus infection last week.
My allergies have hit hard this year as well. I use the 24-hour type and take it before I go to be so it's working when I wake up. The generic for Loratadine tablets at 10 mg. You can purchase a bottle of 365 tables for a whole year supply at a great price.
