$25 Amazon/PP-1-WW- Crazy Fox Ranch (Paige MacKenzie Mystery)-Deborah Garner-Ends 6/10

Tuesday, May 29, 2018

I have read all the Paige MacKenzie books in the series so far and enjoyed all of them!

Paige has finally decided to leave her big city job and go live in Jackson Hole--a very small town. There is a reason for this--the man she is totally in love with lives there! She manages to get a job as a reporter, as a helper in a bakery and of course will be helping Jake open Crazy Fox Ranch.

Leave it to Paige to stumble on a mystery--which she will not let go of--as she writes an article as a freelancer for her prior boss.

As always this is a clean cozy mystery with plenty of twists and turns!

Crazy Fox Ranch by [Garner, Deborah]
NEW RELEASE....

When NY reporter Paige MacKenzie leaves Manhattan for Jackson Hole, she has only two things on her mind: enjoy life with Wyoming's breathtaking Grand Tetons as the backdrop, and spend more time with handsome cowboy Jake Norris as he prepares to open his guest ranch.

As Paige begins to settle in, a stranger's odd behavior leads her to research western filming in the area - in particular, the movie, Shane. Will digging into Hollywood's movie connection with Jackson Hole simply lead to a freelance article for the Manhattan Post, or will it lead to a dangerous hidden secret?

"This book held my interest from start to finish. It was beautifully written with such great descriptions that I could picture the town and landscapes." - review of Above the Bridge

"Delightful . Loved the explorations into the old mines and the side love stories. Mist was a special person with exceptional insight." - review of The Moonglow Cafe

"The author does a great job in vividly describing the resort, town and surrounding landscape, she makes you feel like you are actually there. She also has a gift for making her characters come to life." - review of Three Silver Doves

"I was thoroughly intrigued by the railroad history that was interspersed throughout the book. Deborah Garner does a wonderful job of making you think you were there as the railroad was built and when it was running. I would strongly suggest you pick up a copy of this book and give it a read."

About the author
Deborah Garner is an accomplished travel writer with a passion for back roads and secret hideaways. Born and raised in California, she studied in France before returning to the U.S. to attend UCLA. After stints in graduate school and teaching, she attempted to clone herself for decades by founding and running a dance and performing arts center, designing and manufacturing clothing and accessories, and tackling both spreadsheets and display racks for corporate retail management. Her passions include photography, hiking and animal rescue. She speaks five languages, some substantially better than others. She now divides her time between California and Wyoming, dragging one human and two canines along whenever possible.

Of course we want the dangerous hidden secret! Sounds great for those who want some mystery and danger without the horror and gore. The love relationships help too as most of us have that urge to see two hearts come together!

I have not yet seen the Grand Tetons in person. I'm sure they would make me feel tiny.
