Book Review-Page: A Sweet Scottish Medieval Romance (Sweet Scottish Brides Book 1)-Tanya Anne Crosby

Friday, April 27, 2018

This is truly a sweet and clean romance that will capture your heart and keep you reading. There are parts that are going to make you want to cry as well. Page is one very strong female and holds a lot of resentment inside--but then so does Iain. Iain has a heart of gold--but tries to appear rough and ready--he is the laird--appearances you know. These two have a lot in common but it takes a while for them to figure it all out!

I loved the entire story and the ending made me so happy!!

If you love romances with strong Scottish men and even stronger female counterparts--you will love this novel!!

About the Book: (from Amazon)

"Page" is the SWEET/CLEAN edition of "The MacKinnon's Bride" by Tanya Anne Crosby -- a New York Times bestselling author and her daughter

England/Scotland 1124: Page FitzSimon has lived her entire life in the shadow of the man she called father. Left to her own devices, with her mother imprisoned, she still might never have imagined that Hugh FitzSimon would deny his only daughter. Alas, when Scottish Chieftain Iain MacKinnon comes to barter for his son's release, she learns how expendable she truly is...

Vowing to stop at nothing to secure his young son's return, Iain MacKinnon captures Page with the intent of bartering her for Malcom's freedom. Little does he realize that Page's father doesn't want his daughter, and although he will win Malcom's freedom by other means, he will also find himself a reluctant champion to the Sassench lass who now has no home.

For readers who prefer romance without strong language or sex. This is a clean read book.

Page sounds like a fantastic read as does The MacKinnon's Bride I just may have to read both. In fact it looks like I may have a new series of books to read. Without out you I'd never know what to read, therefore, would probably read a lot less.
