$25 Amazon/PP-1-WW-Murder and Mega Millions: A High Desert Cozy Mystery -Dianne Harman Ends 4/30

Monday, April 16, 2018

It has often been said that people who win very large lottery prizes--well their lives are never the same--some get worse--some better, in this case the winner came from a dirt poor background and turned those millions into philanthropic giving and collecting antiques. The only family she had left was a drunken uncle and a brother who was either dead or in prison! She moved to Palm Springs, California. Melissa became the "Queen of arts and antiquity collecting and philanthropy which did not make some of the other residents very happy.

She is ultimately murdered--but by who? It is up to Marty, her detective husband, her psychic sister and her new little boxer (who just might be psychic himself!) to figure it all out!

Of course food figures prominently in this book and the recipes can be found in the back!!

About the Book: (from Amazon)

She picked the winning numbers. She won millions. Is that why she was murdered?
This is Book 6 in the popular High Desert Cozy Mystery series by USA Today Bestselling Author and seven-time Amazon All-Star, Dianne Harman.

But who did it? Melissa's no-good uncle or her ex-con brother who she hasn't seen for years? Could they both be prime suspects? And what about her maid and her abusive husband-to-be? Is being known as a prominent philanthropist or antique collector a reason to commit murder? Yes, Palm Springs, California, is like a different world to most people, but is it different enough that ego justifies murder?

And are the rich really that much different than you and me?

When Marty's wealthy new appraisal client is murdered, things get messy. Her husband's the lead detective on the case, and he needs her to help him solve the murder.

Can Marty's psychic sister help? How can Patron, her young boxer dog, seem to sense when she's in danger? And what about the ghost her sister sees? Could she really be the murder victim's mother?
