Would you be able to spot a fake painting of an original? I sure wouldn't. But DeeDee, the owner of the catering business Deelish has a photographic memory. She also loves viewing art work so when she and her fiance take a trip to France they go to visit many art museums and galleries and restaurants where they eat amazing food! Just before they left on their trip they left their Husky with some friends and spotted a new original painting on the friends wall----

She wasn't positive--but thought she spotted it again in an art gallery in France. What will it take to prove which is the fake painting one way or another--quite a bit as it turns out. And then the art gallery owner is found dead-------who did it? A lot of viable suspects. Any one of them could have committed the murder and with good reason.

To find out who did it--and to see all the delicious recipes in this volume-----you know what to do!!

About the Book: (from Amazon)

The caterer had a photographic memory. The murdered art dealer had secrets. His wife had a lover.

This is the sixth book in the Northwest Cozy Mystery Series by USA Today and Amazon Chart #1 Bestselling Author, Dianne Harman.

You’re in Provence, France, and happen to see the same painting for sale by the same artist your best friend just bought from a gallery in Seattle. What would you do?

DeeDee discovers the murdered art dealer’s body and knows she needs Jake’s help. Having a private detective as your fiancĂ© is a good thing when you’re looking for a murderer. So is having a husky dog.

Who did it? The gallery owner’s French wife, who is also his nephew’s lover? The nephew who owns a gallery in Provence? The struggling artist who had a gift for reproducing famous artists’ works? The young retired Microsoft millionaire who bought paintings from the gallery? Or even Al De Duco, the ex-mobster who also owned a painting from the gallery?

Mouth-watering food & recipes! Buy now or download it for free with Kindle Unlimited!

That sounds like an interesting story. I love the photo on the cover. :)

This sounds very mysterious and intriguing. I have to wonder if the gallery owner wasn't in a bit of a scheme his own self. I don't know much about art, although it would take someone quite talented to reproduce a painting that close to the original. On another note I really am enjoying the last book I ordered because of your review!

No I could not tell the difference between a fake and an original painting. I'm lucky if I can tell the difference between a painting and a photograph!
