Was it really back in 2013 that I read Sandustee-The Search for the Nazarene’s Code by Bob Adamov. See my review here. Wow--I really did enjoy that story and knew I would love to read one or more of them! Well here I am 5 years later--and I still LOVE the way this author writes. He keeps you guessing and enthralled. His plots--total fiction but with a possible historical bent.

Was FDR murdered by the Germans back in 1945 or was his death natural? This is the mystery that investigative reporter Emerson Moore is bound and determined to find out. Emerson has more then 9 lives--but he definitely uses up a couple of them in this novel. Then the terrorists decide he should die--but are they all terrorists? You will just have to read this book to find out!!

About the Book: (from Amazon)

From Put-in-Bay to Washington, Key West, Tampa and New Orleans; Put-in-Bay-based investigative reporter Emerson Moore is pulled into a complex series of incidents which link a sunken World War II u-boat on a special assignment to FDR's death in 1945 to terrorists on a deadly mission. Moore must connect the threads before the terrorists wreak havoc using drones on a key Florida military site and a New Orleans world leaders' conference. In Key West, Moore joins renowned shipwreck hunter Willie Wilbanks as they team up with a Turkish underwater archeologist, his ravishing daughter/research assistant, and a motley crew of misfits on a dangerous adventure in the Straits of Florida to find the sunken u-boat. When disaster strikes, Moore and Wilbanks find themselves adrift at sea with little hope for rescue. Racing against time, Moore is sucker-punched on his most thrilling journey yet. Golden Torpedo is a gripping epic of danger as Moore follows a trail that leads to treachery and a deadly climax.

About the Author: (from the Author's Website)

Bob Adamov is an American mystery adventure writer whose stories are based in the Lake Erie South Bass Island resort town of Put-in-Bay, the “Key West of the Midwest.” His novels follow the adventures of Washington Post investigative reporter, Emerson Moore, and are written in the style of Adamov’s favorite author, Clive Cussler.

“Bob Adamov is a superb craftsman of hanging-on-the-edge-of-your-seat mystery adventures…” – Midwest Book Review

Adamov, a Kent State University grad, had worked for an Arlington, Virginia-based defense contractor in the intelligence sector. He is a seasoned executive with an extensive background in human resources, public relations, investor relations, finance and crisis management with several major northeast Ohio companies. Prior to the publishing of his first novel, Rainbow’s End, Adamov’s writing focused primarily in the business environment.

From his home base in Wooster, Ohio, located about 60 miles south of Cleveland, Adamov and his wife, Cathy, head for South Bass Island and take the Miller Ferry. He also spends time in Key West and the Cayman Islands with his scuba diving and treasure hunting friends.

Adamov’s long time friend and legendary Put-in-Bay singer/songwriter/comedian Mike “Mad Dog” Adams wrote a new song entitled The Other Side of Hell. It is included on his 11-song CD which is included in each copy of the book.
