It is extremely difficult to forgive a husband who has cheated on you--even though he swears it was a one night stand--especially when your grand mother who isn't the easiest person to get along with is insistent that you divorce him. But what if he is telling the truth? When he is shot-Rayleene rushes to the hospital and ultimately decides to help him recover when he gets out. But--that one night stand keeps showing up and people seem to want to kill both Rayleene and her husband!

Rayleene is also hiding something from her husband, and her grand mother is hiding something from Rayleene. To find out how this all culminates you will have to read it--you know I'm not going to tell you!!

This was a very fast reading book full of twists and turns--with lots of surprises!!

Kathryn J. Bain is an award-winning author of Christian, mystery, and suspense, including the Lincolnville mystery series and KT Morgan short suspense series.

Ms. Bain has garnered several awards, including two Heart of Excellence Readers' Choice Awards and a First Place Royal Palm Literary Award for Inspirational Fiction.

A past President of Florida Sisters in Crime and Public Relations Director for Ancient City Romance Authors, Kathryn enjoys doing talks and teaching about writing.

I love the crime/mystery/thriller genre but haven't read anything by this author. It's always great to discover a new series!
