Book Review-A Picture-Purrfect Christmas (A Klepto Cat Mystery Book 13)-Patricia Fry

I needed tissues again--from happiness this time. This is one of the most heart warming stories I've read in a while, one that I can see myself reading again and again. There are quite a few twists and turns as the story of Marissa, a young crippled girl who lives in a not very good foster home, dreams of a better life and brings joy where ever she goes in spite of how she has to lives.

It is no wonder that Savannah takes this child under her wing. What is surprising is how Raggs, the resident kleptomaniac cat takes to her. Marissa is kidnapped just before Christmas Eve--can they find her? You will be surprised at who ultimately does! Once back in Savannah's house more Christmas miracles occur!

The ending embodies the spirit of the holiday season and is when you will need that tissue box!!

About the Book: (from Amazon)

A spellbinding story of love, hope, and a child’s innocent Christmas dreams. When Savannah Ivey agrees to teach photography to a group of at-risk children, she doesn’t expect a sweet-spirited little crippled girl to steal her heart and become an important part of her family. Even Rags, the kleptomaniac cat, is captivated by the child named Marissa. When she goes missing, everyone, including Rags, experiences the pain of loss.

Detective Craig Sledge fears that Marissa’s unscrupulous, non-custodial father may be behind her disappearance and the search escalates into high gear. When even a pack of rescue dogs can’t find the child, the detective turns to Rags and everyone prays for a Christmas miracle. Can Rags succeed where the others have failed?

While this story involves some intense drama, it will also make you smile and even laugh out loud. Bring out the tissues for the beautiful ending. A Picture-Purrfect Christmas is one of those feel-good holiday stories you’ll want to read over and over again.

I have a love/hate relationship with books that make me cry. I always feel so silly when I start crying over one of them.

Oh gosh, I felt emotional just reading your review! That poor child, in that "not soo good" foster home :-( Glad it ends up being a feel good book though. I could use one of those on my reading list!
