"And the truth shall set you free" - I don't know who first coined this phrase but this book proves just how right it is. All or at least most of us made mistakes when we were younger--did things we are now not so proud of--dated the wrong people but came away stronger and with our psyches in one piece. Not so Annie--she was so traumatized and embarrassed it took many years for the whole truth to come out.

This novel delves into Annie's college years where she met a man she thought she loved--then met the man she truly loved. Stalkers can be frightening and Annie's ex was definitely one and a frightening one at that. Luckily Hank understood and they ultimately got married. Then that fateful day when a man banged on Annie's car window as she was ready to drive home from grocery shopping----it was the demon from her past come to haunt her once again!

Will Annie and Hank's ideal and happy marriage be able to withstand the secret that Annie has been hiding all these years? Read the book and you will find out!!

New Release....

Annie and Hank have created a perfect life in Laguna Beach but when a dark secret is revealed, will their marriage survive?

In high school, Annie Johns was the calm, supportive sidekick to the rest of the tumultuous female stars of the hit reality TV show, Laguna Nights. Today, she's living the happy life as a mom that she predicted on the show long ago. There's only one problem: the secret from her past that haunts her most nights, a secret that if revealed could ruin everything she shares with her husband, Hank, the man who saved her from the heartache.

***Laguna Heights can be read and enjoyed as a stand alone novella. And if you enjoy Annie and Hank's story, please consider reading the rest of the Laguna Beach series.

Laguna Nights (Laguna Beach Book 1)

Madison Alcott was back in her hometown, caring for her sick mom and working long hours at the best resort in Laguna Beach. She never imagined she'd return to the place where she became famous on the hit reality TV show Laguna Nights, and the place where she was humiliated on national television. Fortunately, the past had stayed tucked away until her old high school boyfriend appeared in the lobby.

Josh Welsh was a superstar by age eighteen, the bad boy break-out star of Laguna Nights. Since then, his star had lost its shine and he barely was holding onto his Hollywood status. When he was asked to host a new reality travel show, he jumped at the chance. The only problem was the first episode was shooting in Laguna Beach. Of all the reasons Josh didn't want to return home, he hadn't even imagined the worst scenario: running into Madison "Holly" Alcott.

Josh's connection to Madison was still as strong as her anger at his betrayal. When the new reality series forces them together, they must face Laguna Nights past and present, and navigate a journey where nothing is as it seems.

These both sound like good reads that I'd like to enjoy and drift away in...a fun read for on the beach or after the family has gone to bed in my ME time.

Interesting. Although if Hank saved her from her past, I wonder if the stalker is the secret or if there is a twist coming. Now you have me curious.

This definitely sounds like the perfect beach read. I'm more of a mystery type girl, but I know my mom would love this one.

These sound like perfect holiday reads - and as we're off on holiday soon, I will have a quick look on Amazon now to make it's here in time! Thanks

Having a stalker can be very scary. Information like this should be shared with potential mates just in case they surface again down the road.

I love good reads and I can relate to having a stalker. It's a frightening experience. I'll have to check this series out over the holidays when I'm too tired to do anything but read. I'm a bookworm on most days.
