What a wonderful way to learn about the Great Smokey Mountain National Park as your child or you (I actually thoroughly enjoyed reading this book) time travel along with Bubba Jones and his family all of whom are known by the most peculiar names on their adventure through this countries largest park system-both present and past. Because you see this family has a BIG secret--but you will have to read the book to find out what it is!!
This book would be great for Home Schooling , regular classrooms and even to reading to the younger set-the illustrations are quite good. There is a curriculum guide, discussion questions and a bibliography at the end of this book-but it honestly reads like a story-the learning will come so easily.
